How VEGA’s Architecture Works, Edge to Enterprise

One closed-loop ecosystem, edge to enterprise.

Every VEGA device terminates in the VEGA Management Hub. The Hub is the single gateway to IBSSweb, the enterprise security core. This direct connection ensures data remains secure, well-organised, and easy to track for audits.

How To Choose the Right System Size?

Every VEGA deployment is sized to the site.

There is no standard, fixed package. Every VEGA installation can be customised to match the daily operations and security risks of the individual site — the console tier, key cabinet mix and locker layout are selected together.

Key inventory

Count of unique keys in scope, and how they are physically grouped today.

Authorised users

Number of authorised users, shift patterns, dual-user requirements.

High-risk areas

Armouries, controlled-substance rooms, high-value asset stores.

Locker demand

Item type, compartment size, turnover rate, drop-off vs personal-locker mix.

Site topology

Number of physical locations, connectivity, wall-mount vs floor-standing feasibility.

Security and compliance target

Audit granularity, retention window, IBSSweb reporting schedule.

Management Hub tier: VG-KMSC-20 / 50 / 100 is selected against the confirmed cabinet count. A custom VG-KMSC-C console is engineered when the standard tiers fall short.

How Does VEGA Integrate with IBSSweb?

VEGA integrates with IBSSweb — and only IBSSweb.

VEGA is not an open system. It is intentionally designed as a secure, closed network: all key and locker cabinets connect directly to the VEGA Management Hub, and the Hub connects to IBSSweb. That is the complete setup and how the system works.

Device → Hub

TCP/IP or WiFi from every K-Series cabinet and L-Series locker into the VEGA Management Hub on the site LAN.

Hub → IBSSweb

A dedicated gateway relaying transactions, permissions and settings to the IBSSweb server for unified reporting and monitoring.

Card Standard

13.56 MHz Mifare card reader on both K-Series and L-Series (ISO 14443-A).

Face + card + PIN, resolved on the device. Users, credentials and roles are administered centrally via IBSSweb.

Every retrieval, return, door-open and Late-Return event is synchronised to the IBSSweb — the same evidence store your security team already queries.

VEGA hardware is manufactured in China, to ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard — the same certification held by ASIS Technologies. Engineering specification, firmware and platform integration are directed by ASIS Technologies from Singapore. The result is a platform typically priced significantly below comparable European key-management systems, offering the same build quality, official certifications, and security tracking capabilities.

Manufacturing Standards

Engineering Ownership
