In a maximum-security correctional facility like Sharjah Central Jail, there is zero margin for error. The security system is a fundamental tool of enforcement where system downtime is not an option. The project demanded a partner capable of delivering a solution defined by unwavering reliability and absolute control. The challenges were immense, requiring mission-critical reliability, the integration of unique high-security hardware like intricate prison cell locks, and total situational awareness for operators across a complex, multi-layered environment.

We engineered a fortress of integrated control. The system’s brain, our IBSSweb platform, runs on dual redundant servers for guaranteed uptime. We deployed a layered security strategy, using full-height turnstiles at visitor entrances and infallible iCAM7000 Iris Recognition Readers for the most critical rooms. Our deep engineering capability was proven when we developed custom firmware to seamlessly control the jail’s specialized, non-standard cell locks—a bespoke solution developed and tested in-house.

The true power of the system lies in its deep integration. We unified access control, CCTV, and intercoms into a single, intelligent workflow. An intercom call from a protected area instantly displays the relevant live video feed on the command center screen, allowing the operator to see, communicate, and remotely grant access from the same interface, dramatically improving response time and efficiency.
