The AFR8630 biometric smartcard reader is the latest addition to our family of biometric products. The cost effective biometric reader comes complete with an optical sensor that makes use of the industry-leading fingerprint recognition algorithm.

This biometric reader operates using the widely recognized industry 3-factor authentication for the highest level of security with the simultaneous authentication of WHO you are (fingerprint), WHAT you have (card) and WHAT you know (pin).

Additionally, this reader offers unmatched versatility that allows user authentication via any of the following modes:

*Fingerprint, Card and PIN

*Fingerprint and Card

*Fingerprint and PIN

*Fingerprint only

- Integrated finger print sensor, contactless smart card reader and keypad offer multiple

security combinations of fingerprint, card and/or PIN access modes catering to various levels

of security requirements

- Supports up to 4,500 users with 2 fingerprint templates per user in fingerprint only mode

- 1:1 and 1:N user authentication

- Support industry standard contactless smartcard read/write operations in compliance with

ISO 14443 Type A
