February 2013—Star Awards 2013 was an initiative of ASIS Technologies to recognize certain star qualities of each employees who are committed to excellence and dedication to the organization. Some of star qualities recognized during the event are Dedicated, Customer-Centric, Responsible, Passionate, Knowledgeable, Keen Learner, Disciplined, etc. just to name a few.
Employees are empowered with their own star qualities and ASIS team is moving ahead to the next level together.
In addition to the new features discussed in the previous issues, another feature is the Expanded Security Level Support. This feature supports multiple administrators sharing one system but provides restriction to access data of other administrators.
As an illustration, the IBSS2000 4.8.7.2 is installed in Company A Head Office. The system administrator for Company A – Branch 1 can only view and access the cardholder data and events for Branch 1. This is the same for Branch 2, Branch 3 and so on where the system administrator of each branch can only access the cardholder data of their respective branch.

February 22, 2013 was the night ASIS Technologies celebrated its Star Awards 2013 in conjunction with the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration. In line with the name ASIS Technologies, the event theme was
AStar Is Shining where all staff were recognized and awarded based on their star quality. The awards ceremony was hosted by ASIS Technologies’ Consultant, Ms. Caroline Then.
Four Exemplary Employee 2012 awards were awarded to four staffs who showed their exemplary star quality last year. Ms. Siti Nurulhawa who grabbed the exemplary award for being “Dependable” and Mr. Jason Chew for being a “Customer-Centric”, are just two of the four exemplary employees recognized during the event.
The night ended with all employees having the feeling of enthusiasm and motivation to continuously shine as bright as stars.
In addition to the increase in User Access Groups (UAG), the next key feature of the IBSS2000 v4.8.7.2 is the increase in the Multi Lift Group (MLG) support from 64 to 255. This feature allows users to assign tenants, employees and/or visitors access rights to various level(s) in the building. Upon assignment of an MLG, each tenant, employee and /or visitor is then given access to those levels in the building via the lift.
